1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Remerlinds online store operated by Remerlinds, a business registered in the Netherlands.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our services.

3. Products and Orders

Product Information

We provide accurate product descriptions and images. Colors may vary due to screen settings or resin batch variations. We primarily use dark grey resin but may substitute light grey or beige resin based on supplier availability - this does not affect product quality. All prices include VAT where applicable.

Order Process

  1. Orders are confirmed when we accept them and send confirmation
  2. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders
  3. Payment must be completed before order processing
  4. All items are made-to-order and must be printed before shipping
  5. Processing times are outlined on individual product pages but may vary if we receive a large volume of orders
  6. We will contact you with updates and provide expected shipping dates if delays occur

Pricing

Prices may change without notice. You pay the price displayed when you place your order. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

4. Your Rights as an EU Consumer

Right of Withdrawal

You have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order without giving reasons, except where an item is exempt (see below). Send cancellation notice to store@remerlinds.com. Check our Refund Policy for additional clarifications and information not covered below.

Return Requirements: Items must be undamaged and in original packaging.

Eligible for withdrawal: in-stock items and Bronze (DIY Ready) kits, within 14 days of delivery. If a Bronze kit has been worked on (sanded, primed, glued or painted), we deduct any resulting loss of value from your refund.

Exceptions - No withdrawal right for:

  • Silver (Detail Ready) and Gold (Paint Ready) kits, and any kit with custom or personalised options - this finishing makes them personalised to you, so under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)) they are exempt
  • Primed/painted products (customized items)
  • Items damaged by customer use
  • Items not in original packaging or condition

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation or returned items. Refunds use your original payment method unless agreed otherwise.

Return Process

For defective items only:

  1. Contact us immediately at store@remerlinds.com with photos showing the defect
  2. We will assess the claim and provide return instructions if accepted
  3. For damaged parts, we may first offer replacement parts rather than full product replacement
  4. We cover return shipping costs only when full product return is required
  5. Proof of defect required (photos, detailed description)

Note: Return shipping costs are your responsibility except for items that require full return due to confirmed defects.

Legal Guarantee

As required by EU law, products have a 2-year legal guarantee against defects in materials or manufacturing. This covers items that don't match our description, have printing defects, or are damaged due to manufacturing issues. Normal wear from hobby use is not covered.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Processing Times: All items are made-to-order and must be printed before shipping. Processing times are outlined on individual product pages but may vary if we receive a large volume of orders. We will contact you with updates and provide expected shipping dates if delays occur.

Shipping: We ship from the Netherlands using primarily PostNL and DHL. Delivery times vary by destination country - see individual product pages for specific timeframes. All delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events beyond our control.

Risk: Passes to you upon delivery

6. Privacy and Data

We process personal data according to our Privacy Policy and GDPR requirements. Your data may be processed by our service providers including Shopify. Refer to our Privacy Policy for the details.

7. Intellectual Property

Our website content, product renders, and photography belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our website content without permission.

Character names, designs, and related trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property.

8. Liability

Our Liability

We are liable for damages caused by our intent or gross negligence. Our liability is limited to the order value except for personal injury or where law requires unlimited liability.

  • Pay all charges on time

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Dutch courts have jurisdiction, except where EU consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice for material changes. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
