✨ Some Magical Updates to How We Do Things
TL;DR: We're introducing 3 finish options instead of one-size-fits-all pricing. Bronze (DIY) = cheaper but you do the sanding. Silver (our current service) = slight price increase but fair for the work involved. Gold = premium option, arrives primed and ready to paint. Bulkamancer models are live with new pricing, NomNom figures updating over 1-2 weeks. Your discount codes still work on everything. We're doing this to stay sustainable while growing - currently earning €4-5/hour isn't working with two full-time jobs. Thanks for understanding! 💕

It's been an incredible year and a bit since we opened our little workshop doors. What started as two people with a resin printer and a love for cute figures has grown into... well, two people with TWO resin printers (soon to be three!) and an even bigger love for what we do.
Why Things Are Changing
Let's be real for a moment - we've been spending 2-5 hours hand-finishing each figure, and at current prices, that works out to about €4-5 per hour. We also both have full-time jobs, and sometimes (just sometimes!) we'd like to watch a movie or actually paint our own figures instead of just prepping yours! 😅
As orders have grown (thank you!!! seriously!!!), we've been extending shipping times to keep up with the post-processing. But that's not the experience we want to give you, and it's not sustainable for us either.
The New Way: Your Figure, Your Choice!
Instead of our old one-size-fits-all approach, you now get to choose how much prep work you want us to do:
🥉 Bronze Finish (DIY Ready)
Perfect for experienced hobbyists who enjoy the full journey from raw print to painted masterpiece. You'll get a clean, cured figure with supports removed - ready for your personal touch. This needs substantial sanding work and potentially some hole filling (Milliput is your friend here!). Some of our customers actually find the process therapeutic, a perfect excuse to zone out with an audiobook for a couple hours (seriously though - wear a mask, those resin particles aren't meant for your lungs!). Great when you want to save money or genuinely don't mind - or even enjoy - the prep work.
🥈 Silver Finish (Detail Ready)
This is our sweet spot and what most of you have been loving. We handle the tedious stuff - sanding off support marks, filling those pesky print holes, getting everything smooth. You'll still need to fit pieces together, fill any assembly gaps, and prime, but the heavy lifting is done. It's slightly more than our old pricing (we're finally being honest about those 30-60 minutes per chibi!), but now you know exactly what you're getting.
🥇 Gold Finish (Paint Ready)
When you just want to paint! Everything from Silver PLUS gaps filled, potential assembly done where possible, and professionally primed in your choice of black, gray, or white. Each piece gets individual inspection. Zero prep work, maximum painting joy.
Speaking of New Things... BULKAMANCER IS HERE! 🎮
Okay, we're SUPER excited about this - we finally have a bunch of Bulkamancer models listed! If you haven't checked them out yet, seriously, go look. They have some absolutely incredible designs that leave us in awe - even if they are still grey. All Bulkamancer models are already using the new three-tier pricing, so you can grab them at whatever finish level makes you happy!
What This Means For You
The Good:
- Bronze tier is CHEAPER than our old pricing (competitive entry point!)
- Clear expectations - you know exactly what prep level you're getting
- Faster shipping (Bronze orders will fly out the door)
- Your discount codes work on ALL tiers
The Honest:
- Silver tier (our old standard) is slightly more expensive - but now priced fairly for the time involved
- We're rolling this out gradually - Bulkamancer is already live, NomNom figures updating over the next 1-2 weeks
Why Our Website Might Be Worth Looking At
While we're making changes, can we talk about remerlinds.com for a second?
We've built something special:
- Better filters - Actually find that specific character from that one franchise without scrolling forever
- More options - 75mm versions and busts coming soon (there is a limit on the variant dropdowns for each platform making implementation elsewhere unfeasible)
- Different platform, different features - Each marketplace has its own structure
- A real FAQ section - No more wondering about things
- Loyalty program - It's already live - subject to change of course based on learnings, but should be quite stable for the long run. We might write a separate post on that one in the future.
- Cleaner product pages - Easier to read, better organized (in our humble opinion 😊)
Your discount codes work everywhere, with variations by platform: 20% off figures, 10% off chibis on our website versus 15%/7.5% on other platforms.
Moving Forward Together
This isn't about maximizing profits - it's about making this sustainable so we can keep bringing you amazing figures for years to come. We want to expand our catalogue, source new designers, maybe even sleep occasionally!
(And maybe, just maybe, prepare for some deadly armies in the future... but you didn't hear that from us ⚔️)
Your existing orders? Processing as normal at the quality you expected when you ordered. Your discount codes? Still valid, still awesome, work on all tiers. Our commitment? Same as always - magical figures, personal, reliable and swift service, and that commitment to quality you can't get from mass production.
